Therapie der lymphozelenbildung nach nierentransplantation - Offene oder laparoskopische operations-technik?

The therapy of lymphoceles after kidney transplantation should begin with less invasive methods. In our clinic we performed in following order between 1990 and 2004: puncture, drainage, sclerotherapy and marsupialization (laparoscopic and open). We analyzed 32 patients and there was no correlation between extent of preparation of the iliac vessels or the types of materials normally used (clips versus ligation). It depends on the position of lymphoceles wich method (laparoscopic or open) should be used. Less invasive preparation of the vessels and accurate ligation of lymph vessels around the renal hilus of kidney transplant make sense.
